Your trust matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information FoundersROI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed this policy to be readable — not a wall of legalese.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, startup or project name, your founder role, and the preferences you set during onboarding and in your settings. We also collect the profile data you choose to share through Google or email-based authentication providers.
Authentication & Provider Usage
FoundersROI uses Supabase Auth for authentication. You may sign in with an email/password combination, a magic link sent to your email, or via Google OAuth. When you authenticate through Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile avatar URL from Google's identity service. We do not receive access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google service data. Your authentication credentials are stored securely by Supabase and are never accessible to FoundersROI staff in plaintext form.
Analytics & Telemetry
We collect anonymous, minimal usage telemetry to understand how founders interact with the platform and to detect operational issues before they affect your experience. This includes: page views (which surface you visited), feature interactions (e.g., clicking "Sign Out" or saving settings), and error events (when something unexpected occurs). Telemetry events do not contain the content of your goals, milestones, tasks, or any business data you enter into the platform. We use this data exclusively for product reliability and improvement — never for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
AI Processing Disclosure
FoundersROI includes AI-powered guidance features that analyze the goals, milestones, tasks, and preferences you provide within the platform. This processing runs entirely within FoundersROI's infrastructure. Your business data is used to generate personalized execution recommendations, momentum analysis, and strategic guidance — and is not used to train general-purpose AI models, shared with external AI providers for unrelated purposes, or incorporated into any model that serves other customers. The AI layer exists to serve your specific business context, not to extract value from your data.
Data Retention
We retain your account data — including your profile, goals, milestones, tasks, preferences, and AI-generated guidance — for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days. Telemetry and event logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days and are automatically purged on a rolling basis. You may request a complete export of your data at any time by contacting us.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or business data with third parties for their own commercial purposes. We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication — your data resides in Supabase's infrastructure under their security and compliance framework. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and security of our platform and users.
Cookies
FoundersROI uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in. These cookies are required for the platform to function and do not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or any form of cross-site tracking.
Your Rights
